Terms of Service

Welcome to JamliJodi. These Terms are an agreement between you and JamliJodi (“we”, “us”, “our”) covering your use of our website and services. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully — if you do not agree, please do not use JamliJodi.

1. Eligibility

JamliJodi is meant only for individuals seeking a marriage partner for themselves or for a family member they are authorised to represent. You must be of legal marriageable age and legally free to marry under the laws that apply to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you share, whether about yourself or about a family member whose profile you manage.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything that happens under it. Please keep your login details private and tell us straight away if you notice any unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or our community standards.

3. Acceptable use

When using JamliJodi, you agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or impersonated information.
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, solicit money from, or defraud other members.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful, commercial, or non-matrimonial purpose.
  • Post content that is obscene, hateful, defamatory, or that infringes anyone’s rights.
  • Attempt to scrape, copy, overload, or interfere with the platform or other members’ data.

4. Memberships & payments

JamliJodi offers a free membership as well as paid plans and add-ons, with the benefits described at checkout. Paid features are billed at the prices shown when you buy them. Payments are made via UPI and confirmed by our team before your benefits are activated, which usually takes a few hours.

Except where a refund is required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you cancel a paid plan, you keep its benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for; it simply does not renew after that.

5. Verification & safety

A verified badge means a member submitted a document that our team reviewed — it is a helpful signal, but it is not a guarantee of anyone’s identity, intentions, or marital status. Please use your own judgement, never send money to another member, keep conversations on the platform, and meet only in safe, public places. If something feels wrong, use the in-app report and block tools.

6. Content you provide

You own the content you upload. By posting it, you give JamliJodi a limited licence to host and display it as needed to run the service — for example, showing your profile to potential matches according to your privacy settings. You are responsible for having the right to share anything you upload.

7. Our intellectual property

The JamliJodi name, logo, design, and software are our property or that of our licensors. You may use the platform for your personal, matrimonial purposes only, and may not copy, resell, or reproduce any part of it without our permission.

8. No guarantee of outcome

JamliJodi helps members discover and connect with one another. We are not a party to any conversation, relationship, engagement, or marriage, and we do not promise that you will find a match. Decisions you make about other members are your own, and we encourage appropriate background checks before taking any relationship forward.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JamliJodi is not liable for the conduct of any member or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to them or to your use of JamliJodi is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Maharashtra, India.

11. Grievance redressal

If you have a complaint about content, another member, or your use of the platform, please contact our Grievance Officer, who will address it in line with applicable law:

12. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; when changes are material, we will let you know in-app or by email. You can close your account whenever you like from your Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that put other members at risk.
